Wildlife and Fisheries

Program Description

Students in this program will learn about the conservation and management of wildlife and fish species that will combine indoor and outdoor activities. This program of study encompasses a broad spectrum of coursework, while mixing Natural Resources, Forestry and Woodland Ecosystems, Wildlife and Fisheries, and Park and Recreation Management. Students will analyze and interpret biological, chemical and physical properties of soil, water and air. They will also examine the FAA organization as well as develop communication, leadership and business skills essential to the agriculture industry.

Students in this program will learn:

  • Proper Wild Animal Handling Techniques
  • Principles of Wildlife Nutrition
  • Inventory Practices
  • Water Quality Parameters and Testing
