MCCTC marks opening of new wing with building dedication and open house

The Mahoning County Career and Technical marks the completion of construction with a Building Dedication and Community Open House Sunday, January 10, 2010 beginning at 2 p.m.

Student lead and self-guided tours of the new facility will be available to the public from 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.

For more than a year, MCCTC has undergone renovation and construction of an addition and new wing. This area includes the new Joyce E. Brooks Conference Center, a new restaurant, multimedia classrooms, Culinary Arts classrooms, Adult Education offices and classrooms.

In addition to the dedication ceremonies, MCCTC is planning a special luncheon for neighbors in the surrounding streets of the Career Center in appreciation for their patience during the construction phase.
