GED Testing Requirements
In order to take the GED Test you must:
- Call the Adult Education Office to obtain an application.
- Register with the State of Ohio by submitting a GED test application, fee waiver, or money order and age waiver if under 19 years of age.
- Call Adult Education for an appointment to take the test after your application is accepted by the state.
GED Test fee waived if you take the official GED Practice Test at an official ABLE center and achieve a minimum standard score.
How To Enroll
Registration for the GED Test is taken weekly at all ABLE Class sites.

GED Test Dates
Mahoning County Career and Technical Center
The GED tests will be given at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center once a month. Please call for more information.
English for Speakers of Other Languages
Registration for English for Speakers of Other Languages is held Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week, 5:30 p.m. at MCCTC.
